Confidentiality of User Communications 

Except as required by law and in accordance with the Engenious University Internet Privacy Statement. Engenious University will maintain the confidentiality of all user communications which contain personal user information and which are transmitted directly to Engenious University. Postings by a user on any message board or in any chat room will not be protected as confidential and Engenious University may use and provide information contained in any such postings (including any ideas, concepts, know-how or other intellectual property) to any of its parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates for any purpose whatsoever and as deemed appropriate by Engenious University. User should be aware that Linked Sites may contain confidentiality provisions that differ from the provisions provided herein. Engenious University is not responsible for such provisions, and expressly disclaims any and all liability related to such provisions.

SMS

By opting into our services, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Engenious University. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.

Message frequency varies. Engenious reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Engenious also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number where messages are sent.

Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Your wireless provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by texting “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP”, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. 

Another option will be to let us know by email at university@engenious.io.

If you would like to receive messages from Engenious again, just sign up as you did the first time and Engenious will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at university@engenious.io. Messaging Terms Changes

We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued enrollment following such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

Linked Internet Sites 

Engenious University prohibits caching, unauthorized hypertext links to the Site and the framing of any Content available through the Site. Engenious University reserves the right to disable any unauthorized links or frames and specifically disclaims any responsibility for the Content available on any other Internet sites linked to the Site. Access to any other Internet sites linked to the Site is at the user’s own risk. User should be aware that Linked Sites may contain rules and regulations, privacy provisions, confidentiality provisions, transmission of personal data provisions, and other provisions that differ from the provisions provided on the Site. Engenious University is not responsible for such provisions, and expressly disclaims any and all liability related to such provisions.  

Press Releases 

All press releases and other materials presented or released to the financial community that are contained on the Site were, to the best of Engenious University’ knowledge, timely and accurate when issued. However, the passage of time can render information stale, and you should not rely on the continued accuracy of any such material beyond the date of issuance. Engenious University has no responsibility to update any information contained in any such material. All viewers should carefully check the dates of issuance of the material contained in the Site.  Postings Engenious University is under no obligation to review any messages, information or content (“Postings”) posted on the Site by users and assumes no responsibility or liability relating to any such Postings. Notwithstanding the above, Engenious University may from time to time monitor the Postings on the Site and may decline to accept and/or remove any Postings that contain:  

  • Any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind, including, but not limited to, any material which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law.
  • Advertisements or solicitations of any kind.
  • Messages posted by users impersonating others.
  • Personal information such as messages which state phone numbers, social security numbers, account numbers, addresses, or employer references.
  • Messages by non-spokesperson employees of Engenious University purporting to speak on behalf of Engenious University or containing confidential information or expressing opinions concerning Engenious University.
  • Messages that offer unauthorized downloads of any copyrighted or private information.
  • Multiple messages placed within individual folders by the same user restating the same point.
  • Chain letters of any kind.

Transmission of Personal Data 

User acknowledges and agrees that by providing Engenious University with any personal or proprietary user information through the Site, user consents to the transmission of such personal or proprietary user information over international borders as necessary for processing in accordance with Engenious University’ standard business practices. User should be aware that Linked Sites may contain transmission of personal data provisions that differ from the provisions provided herein. Engenious University is not responsible for such provisions, and expressly disclaims any and all liability related to such provisions.

Subscription Policy

At Engenious University, we strive to provide a seamless subscription experience. By subscribing to our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Subscription Updates
    • Upgrading: Users can upgrade their subscription immediately by paying the additional sum required for the higher plan. The upgraded plan and its benefits will become effective upon payment.
    • Downgrading: Users may downgrade their subscription, with the change taking effect from the start of the next billing period.
  2. Automatic Renewal
    • Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of the current billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. If for some reasons automatic renewal was unsuccessful, user will be downgraded to a free plan.
  3. 14-day Refund Policy
    • Users are eligible for a refund within 14 calendar days of the first time subscription transaction. Refund requests made after 14 calendar days will not be processed.
    • To initiate a refund request, the student must contact Engenious University at university@engenious.io providing relevant details such as their full name, course name, enrollment date, transaction date and reason for the refund request.
    • Engenious University reserves the right to verify the student’s information before processing the refund request.
    • Upon receipt of a valid refund request, the Engenious University will review the request within 10 business days.
    • Engenious University is not responsible for any fees or charges imposed by third-party payment processors in connection with the refund.
  4. Payment History and Invoices
    • Users can view their payment history and download invoices through their user profile.
  5. Promotional Period & Initial Charges
    • Your subscription may include a promotional period (such as a free trial or a 100% discount) during which your initial invoice will be $0. During this promotional period, no payment will be charged to your payment method. Notwithstanding the $0 initial charge, you agree that your payment method will be retained and used for future billing.
  6. Recurring Billing & Subscription Renewal
    • After the promotional period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription. You authorize us to charge your stored payment method for the subscription fee on a recurring basis according to your selected billing cycle (e.g., monthly, annually). Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle, and the applicable fee will be billed without further notice.
  7. Automatic Renewal and Payment Collection
    • By accepting these terms, you acknowledge and agree that your subscription will automatically renew and that the applicable subscription fees will be charged to your payment method on file at the beginning of each billing period. If a billing issue arises (e.g., insufficient funds, declined payment), you agree to promptly update your payment information. In case if we are unable to charge your saved payment method, your subscription will be terminated until the transaction for the next billing period is successful.
  8. Cancellation Policy
    • Users may cancel their subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, the user will be downgraded to the Free Plan at the start of the next billing period.
  9. On-Demand Services
    • Services such as mentorship sessions, CV reviews, recommendation letters, and other on-demand features included in the subscription plan must be specifically requested by the user via Discord or email.
  10. Certificate Generation
    • Certificate generation is only available after leaving a feedback about the course and instructors on the Engenious University platform.
    • Certificate Generation for Canceled Subscriptions
      • In the event that you held a subscription, canceled it, and did not generate a course certificate during the period of active subscription, you may request the generation of the certificate by contacting the Engenious University team via email or Discord. Please note that it may take up to one business week to process and fulfill the request.
  11. General Terms
    • We reserve the right to modify subscription fees, billing cycles, and these terms upon providing you with prior notice. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

Modification and Notice 

You agree that Engenious University may modify these Terms and Conditions and any other policies on our Site at any time and that posting the modified Terms and Conditions or policies on our Site will constitute sufficient notice of such modification. 

Severability

You agree that Engenious University may modify these Terms and Conditions and any other policies on our Site at any time and that posting the modified Terms and Conditions or policies on our Site will constitute sufficient notice of such modification. 

Violations of Rules and Regulations 

Engenious University reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of these Rules and Regulations, including the right to block access from a particular Internet address to the Site.  

Digital Millennium Copyright Act – Notification to Engenious University Regarding Alleged Copyright Infringement

Engenious University reserves the right to remove any Content on the Site which allegedly infringes another person’s copyright. Jurisdiction/Governing Law
